We are proud to announce that the Bronowice Business Center 9 building is taking part in the PLGBC Green Building Awards. The idea behind the award is to promote modern solutions for ecological construction. The first edition of the contest took place in 2010.
According to the organizer – Polish Green Building Council:
The idea is to highlight the involvement of participants in the development of sustainable construction in Poland. We also want to raise awareness of this development among participants in the construction market in Poland and worldwide.
The
award is announced in six categories. Bronowice Business Center 9
will compete for the statuette in Best
completed certified ecological building
category.

Warszawa), Bartłomiej Kisielewski (Horizone Studio), Ewa

Associates), Marta Siczek (Interface), dr inż. arch. Aleksandra
Witeczek (Silesian University of Technology).
Bronowice Business Center 9 is the first private office building in Poland, on the roof of which an urban apiary was built. Its tenants are encouraged to use alternative means of transport. And made use of not only the facilities for cyclists or meet during bike picnics, but also a dedicated carpooling system, i.e. the possibility of joint commutes and returns from work.
On top of that, the used solutions: high ceilings, large glazing, and optimal lighting, BMS, VRV system, energy-saving elevators, ecological finishing materials with low VOC content, wood with FSC certificate, already at the concept stage make the building is built in the spirit of sustainable development and promotion of green, environmentally friendly solutions.
The award gala will take place Oct. 4, 2018, during PLGBC Green Building Symposium 2018 in Warsaw.
